Holiday Programmes
Our school holiday sessions are a chance for your child to experience full immersion nature, craft and fun! We introduce children to many materials and processes, and give them time and support to learn a new skill if they are interested to do so. They also have time to relax and unwind from busy routines, to climb a tree, play with friends and paddle in our ponds. Unforgettable memories are forged, and often new friendships too.
Woodcraft
Create a lock box, or small garden box, or whatever you'd like to try at our well-equipped woodwork table. Whittle a smooth staff or something a little more challenging..
Fire lighting
Learn about fire safety and burn first aid, practice with flint and steel and matches. Make a fire starter, and practice lighting a fire - trickier than you might think!
Clay Work
Clay is a fantastic way to introduce children to the world of art, and our clay craft for kids is the perfect hands-on activity. Extra special creations are sent to the kiln and can be taken home.
Sewing and Leatherwork
Learn to use our fabulous old hand-operated Singer sewing machines, make a stuffed toy or cushion, or anything else you can dream up!

Cooking
Cook pancakes, damper and soup from scratch in our children-sized kitchen. Practice your fire-lighting and clean-up skills!
Get muddy!
We encourage the kids to dive right into all activities at the land. Don't worry about getting muddy or wet! We love a good mud or water fight and making a slippery slide to wizzz down!
Candle making
Make a weird and wonderful beeswax candle. Learn about wicks, viscosity, bees and wax.

Hut and Teepee building
We always have a pile of building materials ready to go. One of the most popular activities is designing and creating huts and shelters.
